Kroma Lists Its Native Token KRO on Coinone, Strengthening Web3 Presence in Korea

Kroma, a leading Layer 2 blockchain built on the Superchain, has officially listed its native token, KRO, on Coinone, one of South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges on February 11, 2025. This listing strengthens Kroma’s presence in the Korean market, expanding KRO’s accessibility and enhancing its utility within the ecosystem.

Prior to this, KRO was successfully listed on five global exchanges—Bybit, Gate.io, HashKey, MEXC and ProBit. However, Coinone marks KRO’s first listing on a Korean exchange, providing local users with direct access to KRO trading and deeper engagement with the Kroma ecosystem.

As a global project, Kroma is committed to driving mass adoption of Web3 by making blockchain technology more practical and accessible to mainstream users worldwide. Korea, recognized for its strong cryptocurrency adoption and blockchain innovation, represents a key market in this mission. By establishing a foothold through Coinone, Kroma aims to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3 users via localized initiatives, educational efforts, and community-driven campaigns—fostering seamless integration and real-world utility.

As the core utility token of the Kroma blockchain network, KRO powers ecosystem growth, DApp integration, and user rewards. It is also actively used in Kroket, Kroma’s Web3 rewards application, which launched on January 6, 2025. Available on Google Play and the App Store, Kroket allows users to complete quests, earn points, and redeem them for KRO tokens or mobile coupons, seamlessly embedding blockchain technology into everyday experiences.

“The listing of KRO on Coinone marks a significant milestone for the expansion of the Kroma ecosystem,” said TK, CEO of Kroma. “Our goal is to make KRO more accessible to Korean users and, through Coinone and applications like Kroket, provide real-world experiences that seamlessly connect blockchain technology with everyday life.”

Beyond Korea, Kroma is focused on strengthening its Layer 2 infrastructure, onboarding more developers, and expanding its presence within the Superchain ecosystem. By making blockchain technology more accessible and seamlessly integrated into everyday life, Kroma is committed to onboarding the next wave of Web3 users—starting in Korea and scaling globally.

With a strong emphasis on real-world utility, Kroma continues to drive Web3 adoption by fostering ecosystem growth and expanding accessibility. Through strategic initiatives and user-centric innovation, Kroma is paving the way for a more seamless and rewarding blockchain experience.
